This class is about the (often undiscussed) psychological, emotional, and philosophical themes that you will face as you come to identify as a researcher. It is targetted specifically towards younger PhD students as they begin their academic careers. We will meet once a week to discuss the assigned readings, and any questions that arise from the material.
